James Watt & the Avenues are a surf and rock’n’roll 3-piece, specialising in reverb-drenched, mainly instrumental songs, that evoke the sound of crashing waves, warmer climes and guitar-riff-led anthems.

Influenced by all things 60s-instrumental Surf Rock, Punk, Classical and obviously Rock’n’Roll, JW&TAs also play interesting mashups, covering surf and instrumental classics, mixed in with punk, new wave and other surprising tunes.
